I will thoroughly enjoy starting my car, and soon my truck and boat. I will dearly think of you when I turn the key.

I took a drive down to the marina and as I passed over the Skyway, I noticed that the remaining brick wall has been removed. There is nothing left.

One restaurant closes and another opens. As I was on Broadway along side the Frontier Yard I looked and noticed a long closed restaurant is now open. Basically it’s at Broadway and Harlem Rd pass over. Right across the street from the abandoned humps. Patio will have an excellent view of most of the...

While poking around on google maps, why not come out of the tunnel at UB South and head up Bailey Ave, make a right turn onto Millersport Hwy and go straight into the UB North campus. This would be logical to me if this light rail is planned on only going to either campus...no station stops along th...

Paid for by people who will never ride it while those that do, will likely have a free pass [students]. For all the years that the NFTA Metro has been in operation, I have only ridden on it 4 times. Only just to take a ride on it, not for any need. From my house to downtown, it takes 3 times longer ...

I'm so mad, I completely forgot about the Utica train show. So many little things going on I simply forgot to check the date. I always liked taking Amtrak to the event. Oh well, try again next year. For next year, I've already penciled in the December calendar to check the date for Utica.

Yeah that's what I thought too. Definitely not a depot. But good positioning.

I did locate the path further south towards Naples. Looks like there are even a couple of bridges still in place. I may go down this coming summer and start at the JCT of Rte 21 S at Bristol Springs Road on the north side of Naples. From the street view it appears it is not a crushed stone path but ...

I was just remising about the times I use to fly into Middlesex Valley airport. The owners at that time use to have a weekend only restaurant business and everybody, including me would fly in for breakfast. Lots of fun. The last time I was there was 10/25/2009. The grass strip was really wet...in sh...

Nice video. Reminds me of what the Kinzua Bridge at MT Jewett looked like before the fall.

The path conversion is looking nice and am already looking forward to next year. I truly hope they leave the telegraph poles in place. And keep the many stacks of ties in place. Don’t erase its history.
