I haven't posted anything for a while because nothing is happening in the daytime on the Stony Brook. There haven't been any CSX or B+E transfer operations in my visual and radio monitoring times. M427 according to jaymac's info travels through in the 2AM range. M426 seems to regularly have a new cr...

I had other things going on today but here is what I know--------------

1)Rail train left Westford and is dropping rail somewhere in the vicinity of WA and Wamesit (Lowell--Tewksbury area)
2) It has MEC 507 as lead engine now because of problem with horn on MEC 7643.

As of 16:00 today rail train is still tied down at Westford, the only change is the locomotive has been shut down. My guess is that they don't have the crews and equipment ready where they need them so the train will stay here out of everybody's way.

Per recent video from stony brook productions, Poland springs water is moving again on the stony brook to Ayer But now it is on local L 059 from Lawrence instead of 427 Today's M427 has the water's on it. I am only posting this because it is a daytime rarity --- At 10:50 M427 at Graniteville ready to head west.

I forgot to mention the rail is new 136RE from Steel Dynamics.

The rail train is tied down at Westford with MEC 7643 east tied on. As can be seen in the attached photos the rail cars are set up to drop rail from east to west. I assume the next M426 will pick this up and take it to Maine.

M427 crew ran out of time at Hill yd. about 08:30? today. At 13:48 M427 was given a Form D WOR 1 to Burncoat.
D1 then told them " there will be a live recrew at Still River, and a taxi will take you to Burncoat to pilot M426 east."

Last night a CSX rail train came up the Worcester Line in to Ayer, D1 asking them to call clear of MP1 so he could get the M426 following him moving. No idea on the rail destination.

Seen on yesterday's Chester railcam M426 looked like it had 10 more gondolas of ties plus 3 cars of what looks like 78 foot rail. I know I'm guilty too, but why are we using this topic for CSX MOW activity, there is no more PAR MOW activity.

At about 05:45 D1 was in conversation with M427 about a pickup on the Clinton siding.

If this is your first encounter with PD I'm surprised considering your "gawking" hours.

I have seen two M426 trains on the Chester railcam in the past few days each with about a dozen gondolas full of new ties.
