The coal pile is not adjacent to the ship canal. In the video, I could not see how to convey the coal to a waiting ship.

How about tie the lights into garage sensors? Maybe the indication could normally read Slow Clear (two red over green). When you pull into the driveway, you will get an Slow Approach (two red over yellow). Then when you pull into the garage you get all red in case anyone is following behind you. :P ...

The photo appears to have been taken from a bridge. There are not many bridges crossing the tracks in the area described, and some of the bridges may have been constructed more recently. However, one such bridge dates to the time of the photo. It's the NYS Thruway bridge over the tracks near Brocton...

I can't tell if the cars have hazmat placards. Cars that carry (or have residual) would have red placards.

It's on the corner of Dresser Rd and Transit. There is a spur leading up to the trestle with scrap gons.

The diamond at Brockport is an interesting feature, and I was able to record some switching moves in that area during a special excursion back in 2010(?).
