Was flying over the main line inbound to islp and saw 2 GP-38 sitting over by the sag with atleast 25 cars and they left one bnsf boxcar just west of the parkway at the west switch for the main.

I saw the same train last wed while flying patternes over westhampton airport. From what I could see the train was 4 MP-15 and about 30 cars heading east of westhampton station at 30 mph. :-)

I spoke with one of the heads of the P.A. dept. today at the 175 ceremony about the MP-15 on the trip and she said it would be a DE or DM trip. :(

All I can say the ceremony at penn was ok but the ceremony at jamaica was 100 times beter. Also I got to get on TC-82 from penn to jamaica with the mta brass. What a ride!

Yep that was me and that vest. It was suggested by a cop to keep people from thinking I am a terrorist. It has brought my police encounters down by a lot. But sorry for running out of Westbury so fast but I wanted to reposition at my next location. Leigh :-D

I don’t get why they don’t do the easy thing of lifting them once to a barge and take them to either on the float bridges and then run them up on the back of a freight train or just truck them to the garbage transfer yard and run them off the island. The engiens are going to be barged out from cliftion acording to SIRT and the subway locos are being truck out. So dont miss this cool event. :-D
