John, The FA2 is Scranton is under consideration for return to service. It has a late model 244H in decent shape. And we have all the parts to repair it too!

While driving through the Lehigh gap I noticed that NS has started to replace the old CNJ search light wayside signals. Two new installations are clearly visible from PA route 248. Anyone know the scope of the project?

The stabilizing rheostat on the governor might be open. Also check that the brush arm is making contact with the segmant too. I would start there. Check the fuel rack for binding or lost motion as that can cause severe hunting.

The 101 and the 51 were in sad shape. Sorry to see them go.The 101 lost the crankshaft and the air compressor. Their new addition is ex-Erie Mining 7210.

Yes John, The FPA4 has Static control with a MG8 Governor.
