I believe I read it in the AC Press recently .They said a portion of the track will be removed for the pipeline.The article was about cleaner air and how this plant will have more compacity.

I read where they are going to remove some track to Beasleys Point power plant(sadly) and put a gas pipeline in its place.Maybe they can use the ties and rails that they remove to improve some of the track from Tuckahoe to Cape May.

I will say the goverment pays a lot to maintain those 600 miles of passenger track in N Jersey and helps pay for upgrades in other areas that are not passenger.The fact is highways for cars have been improved for years and also airports and railroads have been laging way behind with little funding.T...

We spend lots on roads so why not trains.Also we spend a lot more up north for years than down south. we need repairs here now for a change.

Progressive railroad news said NJ is giving 1.35 million dollars to upgrade 1.9 miles of track on the Salem branch for heavier rail,new ties and road bed.

3 NS locomotives and apox. 83 full coal cars passed through Milmay at 913pm Sunday nite on the way to Beasleys.Good to see the track still used.
