Found one with a MEC, B&M and Guilford Geep: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=3009861

And one more (1984): http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPi ... id=2566535

I am amazed by the amount of history there and would love to see a freight through there again...

No other timelines have been established. Even if and when #62 is painted, it still needs mechanical work. ST #72 was returned to service (no heritage paint) and is back on the hump with #77.

Stay safe out there!

Fun Facts for y'all: 1) ST #62 IS being painted Boston and Maine sometime this week (supposed to be the McGinnis scheme) 2) The geeps ARE NOT allowed to run far on the mainline because one started a fire along the ROW 3) ST #77 DOES RUN People on here really need to get some patience. LA-1 with GMTX #3003 passed my work (TIGHE Woburn) at 1550hrs headed towards Somerville with 4 bones and 7 scrap gondolas in tow. Most likely will head to Salem this evening. It seems business has at least doubled in the past few weeks. Rousselot used to get about 4 hoppers a week and seem to now be...

I caught LA-1 crossing Third Ave. in Somerville with 4 "bones" at noontime today. They arrived at North St. Salem a little before 1300hrs, ran around their train and headed for Rousselot. Leaving North St.: http://photos.nerail.org/s/?p=201995 Crossing Grove St.: http://photos.nerail.org/s...

Here are 2 pics I took earlier: http://photos.nerail.org/s/?p=201144 http://photos.nerail.org/s/?p=201145 I too was curious about those last 3 hoppers as they seem to be pneumatic discharge type hoppers. The last time they brought this many cars to North St, there were 2 of those hoppers in the cons...

The business with the tankcars near Boston Engine Terminal is M.S. Walker and they make different types of alchol. The place in Wilmington is Lehigh Cement (may have changed names?) and receive cement cars. There is also Atlantic Plywood near Mishawn that gets cars of plywood and Tighe has a warehou...

This is nothing new. Even with the lights turned red, bell ringing and horn blasting people still run the crossing to get in front of the train. A few years ago BO-1 was about to cross the Square and some guy parked in front of them (as they throttled up) on the tracks and went into Bank of America....

There are 12 raildoors at Tighe Winchster. With that being stated, it gives them the ability to handle as many as 24 boxcars at one time. Of course the business isn't there just yet, but cars of paper from Maine are being spotted there now.
