There is no "City Center" in Wall. Its just a big sprawling rural/ suburban township. Depending on what part of Wall you're going to, take the Coast Line to either Belmar, Spring Lake or Manasquan.

another interesting tidbit,
The Haskell at Monmouth Park will be the day before the World Cup Final.
so NJT crews will have a very busy two days dealing with thousands of sports fans.
I'm a Belmar/ Spring Lake native. I remember a freight in Neptune/ Bradley crossing Memorial Drive in 1989 ( I was 11). I think I remember a freight (with a tank car) going through Belmar around 1983 when I was 5. I vividly remember sidings in Belmar crossing both East and West Railroad Avenues into...
what sort of possible freight would be coming or going to Belmar/ Spring Lake/ Neptune?
now that Spring racing season is about to start, is the LIRR going to run two trains each Saturday to the Belmont Park Station? LIRR and NYRA websites don't have any info,
You would think Belmar would be on the list for a high level platform. They get some sizeable crowds, particularly in the Summers and the first Sunday in March
Belmar native here. I think I remember seeing a freight train in Belmar around 1982 or so. I remember a tank car (maybe going to Bay Head) My 2 Little League fields were along the train tracks (Belmar Elementary School and the field on Railroad between 12th and 13th). All of the sidings in Belmar we...
not sure why this thread has seen no activity. Saw a Lakewood bound train around 1:30 PM on Friday. Didn't get a good look because I was crossing overhead on I-195.
why are they not using the UBS Station? It doesn't make any sense.
as a resident of Lower Bucks, I would love to see more Amtrak trains stop at Cornwells. Its easier than going to Trenton (and free parking is a plus)
it definitely wasn't a baseball team on that date.
Yankees are on a long road trip and the Mets are in the middle of a long homestand. The date and destination don't match up with any of the Mets opponents.
As per my Dad (he was a basketball spectator at the adjacent Dempsey Park) last night no NJT trains made a stop at the 16th Avenue grade crossing for the Beat The Clock crowds.
according to my dad, last night he saw a Long Branch bound train stopped at the 16th Avenue grade crossing letting a SRO crowd disembark for Beat The Clock at Bar A. is that normal? in all my years of being around Belmar, being a railfan, and a patron of Bar A, I've never heard of that. I've always ...
Nice to know that the Earle RR is still active. Is it illegal to take pix of Earle trains, even from public areas?....or is the RR entirely on USN property? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/i2QOsO6lNZk" title="YouTube video playe...
