Naturally it depends on the locomotive. GP units are easy to run long hood forward. Can see down the length of the hood, no real loss in visibility as you aren't looking out of the middle windows anyhow. Yes there are still some sites served. I believe there is still a gas transload facility and a few mills of various type. CSX and POHC both serve the island.

After years I got the answer. The green ALCO was Duffy and Son 115 ALCO S-4 originally NKP 49.

Fogging up on glasses is horrible. For me it happened usually when it was raining. Sucks when you are riding a shove and you fog up but can't take off your goggles because a trainmaster may be watching and it could be your job. My stubs had T1 and T2. Don't see EEt2. Also had RR Medicare. This could be your EEt2 which seems to be the right amount. 1.45% Plus state and fed taxes. It gets better after OJT. Work regularly and you will be making plenty of money.

Pieces of what? There are no defect or hotbox detectors at Connellsville. Are you sure they were not by the switches and were the switch heaters? Which end of the platform(North or South)?

A c30-7 is preserved by the Huntington NRHS painted in Marshall paint. Ex LN 7067.
