FWIW, Lidestri Fairport had CSX activity all last fall, but has had no activity since April of this year.

Sorry. I missed that. That's what I get for replying before coffee. I assumed the R&S would remain intact north of the ridge with the runaround intact as well. That would be my suggestion regardless. Since this is a pie-in-the-sky exercise and we're making the state pay for it, every grade cross...

Nice map! Agree with one comment: not sure why you need to place the crossover to the CSX and the box shop just north of the Ridge - I would put it even farther north, just north of the Dewey Ave. crossing - that way you could eliminate two more crossings. (The R&S [old B&O] crossings at McC...

There WAS a connection between the Belt and the Falls Road at one time, in the northwest quadrant. There's a material yard there now. If you put that connection back in, you could abandon the Falls Road to the east in its entirety, along with Charlotte runner all the way to KPRR. That would eliminat...

It's Rochester St., Rochester Rd., County Road 26 or East River Road depending on what map you look at and from what era. I know it as Rochester Road, so that's what I went with.

Well, those are traction motors, and if they got pulled, that's not a good sign. Hopefully, that's enough to let her move OK, albeit with two (now) idler axles.
