Looks like they are already going to start to play the blame game, specifically in regards to PTC.......This is copied directly from MSN's live feed - "Commuter train that crashed into New Jersey Transit's Hoboken terminal was not equipped with positive train control technology - NBC News"

NJT just released an official announcement.

I am surprised that the live catenary didn't become an issue.

Not on the Morris County Traction, but you can see old PS rails poking thru the pavement in Middlesex, NJ, too. Though I'm sure there are many other places throughout the state like this, too.

The only ones I have seen are dated 1911, and are in the hands of private collections. Every once in a blue moon they come up on eBay for sale.
