Minimum 3 car length? Overkill for the Dinky.
These pollution-spewing fossils need to be retired. I love the look of them but they pump out more pollution that any other type of diesel locomotive on the NJT roster.

I'm really curious about the upcoming project cost estimate from Amtrak. The NE Pennsy Rail Authority might have under-estimated the cost in its zeal to get a passenger train to Scranton. We'll know later this year and if this project makes Amtrak's list for future service.
Surprising? No. But this project, if it advances, will be a more substantial and costly rebuilding than Brother Malski has stated. Does his rail authority have any money for rebuilding the Delaware River viaduct that it owns?

Hoboken overcrowded? There is only 1 Waterfront Connection train on weekdays when there used to be like 6.
Bridge damage? Or something else on that segment that you observed today?
