Adirondack Scenic derailment in Utica - 12/8

This Adirondack RR holiday train derailed about 7:00 pm tonight just outside Utica

Most everyone took it in stride, some even saw it as a bit of an adventure.

After all, how many kids can go to school tomorrow and tell their friends they were in a train wreck?

Still under investigation. FRA will be inspecting the first car off, and the track structure will be checked as well.
