There are two wyes in the Lincoln Park area in Rochester, one on CSX and one on the R&S..
LAL would use the R&S wye north of the Brooks Ave yard.

Thanks Scot! Off topic a bit, as I started to trace the line back to the yard, I was surprised to see a plane taking off from the airport.

Farmallbob, great shot in GJ!

Mike S., nice shots and gives me an idea how much snow is down there. (been shoveling twice a day up here near the lake...)

So, 418 and 425 were turned, how about 420? That would mean that they have all three road units facing south...

Charlie - When spotted on Jan 17 the 420 was also facing south.

So both are facing south-which leads the way northbound? I'm going up to Henrietta tomorrow morning to wait for them.

Back to the way it used to be then...I guess I won't bother going after it, until they put either 418 or 3006 on a train...

I think it was about 3-4 years ago, that 420 was wyed - because they had been running with it north, facing north ... with reduced visibility (Long hood forward). 418 Does make it out on occasion, either inlue of both, or just one of the two regulars. Depends on inspection schedule, train size etc.... The last time I saw 418 was on a Sunday, upto GJT and back to barillia.

418 was out with 420 yesterday .... Ill bet money that in about 90 days, you might get the same consist :)
