Where:
Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island
Citywide Leaflet Drop. On January 19th, we will be handing out "Service Advisory" leaflets warning riders that our transit funding is at risk. Volunteers will be stationed at 10 different locations throughout the city from 8-9:30am (prime commuting hours) to hand out leaflets that warn riders that their transit funding is at risk. With only a week to go until this event, we are in need of 30 (yes, you read that right: *30*!) volunteers throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island to make this event a success. We need your help!

Rider Rebellion is working to bring affordable fares and better service to transit riders by uniting and propelling them into action. We are applying pressure to state and city elected officials to stand up for riders, and work to bring stable, long-term funding to public transit.

There are two different ways to volunteer-

• Be a Rebel Team Captain! Pick up leaflets at the T.A. office on Jan 18th and oversee other volunteers at your designated station on the 19th.

• Be a Rebel! Roll out’a bed the morning of the 19th all revved up and head on over to your designated location to hand out leaflets to your fellow transit riders!

Since we will be all throughout the city this is a fast and easy way to spread the word close to your home. For more information or to sign up to volunteer, contact me by phone at 646-873-6004, or by e-mailing me at [email protected]! I'm waiting for your call... (or e-mail).
