Out of service cars ... those for EIC's, inspections, wheels or other repairs pretty much average out to the same amount throughout the year.
Of the cars in service (both cab and coach) most of them are in service. Full consist compliance is maintained. There will be always some extra cars in RH, but not in LIC. They of course would be switched in if there were unforseen OOS cars or to make up a protect train.
Of both the 400 and 500 engines again figuring in repairs and inspections almost every engine is used during the week ..maybe a few left over during the weekend.
