I remember the Pioneer Railcorp operation in Salem N.J. operating some RS-3'sand a T-6. When Pioneer's contract expired and turned over the railraod to a new operator they left to go out to Peoria IL I believe. Does anyone know if they are still running sonewhere?

The ALCO's went to the Michigan Southern. Since that time, the T-6 was sold to the Georges Creek Railroad in Maryland. I am not sure of the present status of the RS-3's. Some of them were up for sale.

Thanks Alcoman, I've been using some of the links to look around for them.

Thanks trainspot, they look just about done. They looked good the few times I saw them in NJ.

The RS3s that were on Michigan Southern are either on the deadline:

Or were sent to the Keokuk Junction, where they are on their deadline:

Any way you cut it, future isn't bright. These were offered for sale a while back, but the prices were EMD money, so Surprise no takers. Anybody wants to buy them, we can fix them for you, but I haven't won the lottery recently.
