I see that this station will be a great place to photograph trains going in and out of Union Station. I just can't wait till it is open.

Yes, I agree it will be a good place, just like the "Harrison" of D.C. I hope that no one is turned away from there by cops. There is always the New York Ave bridge but the new station is not in the best hood.

I tried it out last Tuesday, definetly an awesome place, 10+ Amtrak movements in <1/2 hr!

Thanks for the tip! I didn't know how often Amtrak trains passed through Washington D.C. I saw an Amtrak train at the King Street metro Station in Alexandria.
