Can someone tell me when the A&A acquired No.112? Ted

I'm not 100% certain, but if memory serves, it was 1988 when it was brought in by flatcar and set down on Arcade rails by Winters Railroad Rigging.

1988 sounds about right. The new A&A book has the date.

It was February 19, 1988 when it arrived at Arcade. I don't know for sure when it was first used, but it wasn't long after that. It ran around town with a loud single chime horn that sounded too much like a tractor trailer. The horns from 110 were put on it. It also wore "City of Colorado Springs" on the side for a time.

Thank you, one and all. Ted

That must have shocked the tourists that were passing through when #112 was on freight duty. "Honey, you MUST have missed a turn somewhere!"
