I believe this train set entered service before the advertised 10 A.M. and 125th St. stop. I have a friend who told me that she rode in these babies to go to school from 181st St. to 81st, boarding at around 7/7:30. Great thing to bring them out, nonetheless!

Ceremonies began at 125th Stret at 10 AM and the train departed at 11. Having been delayed on my trip from South Jersey, I got off my northbound A train at 59th Street at 9:45 so I wouldn't miss the Arnine train that I thought would depart 125th Street at 10.
Finally, with the Arnine train on its way, a regular A train ran on the local track.
The Arnine train ran in regular revenue service, making A stops from 125th to Howard Beach. It then returned to 125th Street, where the band got off, then continued in revenue service to 207th Street.
The consist was 381, 401, 1802, 1300, 1575, 484, and 100.

R10. They were nice until the upholstered seats were replaced by FRP torture devices.
