Yesterday's trip over and through Brooklyn was terrific, what with the perfect weather and, of course, the efforts of the fellas from MTA. Thanks much, if any of you guys read/post here.

We boarded at 59th/Columbus Circle and headed south, over the Manhattan Bridge and over the West End line, stopping at Stillwell Avenue for lunch, and then continuing over the Culver Line and then (presumably, I left the trip) back, via the Sea Beach line. As always, there was plenty of opportunity for photos.

Here's a link to some photos I took yesterday. Enjoy!

Great photos, thanks for sharing! Why was the steeplecab part of the consist?

The trip was originally planned with the Lo-V's and I think the steeplecab was added 'just in case'. It was also billed as an added attraction so I think they kept it and ran it with the substitute Arnines. The Lo-V's suffered electrical/mechanical problems on Saturday's trip and weren't up to the trip, so the Arnines were substituted.
