I just picked up the new Morning Sun book covering Lackawanna Facilities Scranton-Buffalo by Chuck Yungkurth. Pretty nice book and good selection of photos. Among others was the first photo I have ever seen of the old YO yard office in Binghamton.

One question concerns the photo at the bottom of Page 123 showing EL E8 823 apparently sitting on the Utica turntable after bringing an excursion train up the line in 1965. Does anyone have any info on this excursion ? Never heard of it after all the years hanging around the line. I'd be interested to know if anyone on this forum rode it or took photos or had any additional info such as a date, consist etc.
