but on the T's website, it says that for all home games, there will be no extra service provided, only the last scheduled trains to depart Yawkey is the only way to get home cause there will be no other trains, same thing goes for the subways

IIRC the only lines not held were the commuter rail lines, every bus and rail line was held for about 30-45 minutes after the game ended. And even if the rail lines and most bus routes shut down there WAS service still going on. Remember it was a Saturday night so the Night Owl was going to go on despite the game, some people may have been stranded for a while but a large number of people could still get home if the T did not hold the buses and trains that extra hour.

No no no... game 4 of the ALCS was on a Sunday. No night owl. No buses. No trains either.

Clearly, you have no credibility anymore on this forum.

Looks like the MBTA is calling you a liar!
"Unfortunately, the fans in attendance did not know that we were holding trains," said MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo.

The way the system works, the last trains of the night at downtown stations stop around 12:50 a.m. on a typical night. But when the Red Sox are in town, they stay put until the game is over.
Absurd that the Sox and T couldn't get word out to the fans for this.

Ok, it was a Sunday night. The rest of what I said holds true, backed up by the post preceeding mine.
