I came across a picture on the web of the Pennyslvania Railroad Depot at Trenton, NJ from around the 1900s. I could not find much information about the station outside of the picture. I was wondering if this station was located on the PRR line from New York to Washington, DC. Moreover, I am interested to know when the PRR or Amtrak replaced the station if it was indeed located on the now NEC with the structure that currently serves as the Trenton station. Thank you for your help.

Sincerely,

NJT is working on the third station in my memory at the current site and there were several other (smaller) stations within the city at various times With the larger ones being at North Warren Street and near the Prison on the Bel-Del and Millham on the Main
If the picture shows the tracks in the cut by the creek then we are probably discussing the current location.

Hi, here are the links to the two pictures I found of the station:

I am interested in the PRR station located on the New York to Washington, DC line.

Thats the main alright and where the current station is. However in 1906 I don't think trains were going to NY, they were still going to Exchange place in Jersey City.

Penn Station was completed in 1910.
