Here's a shot from a Chicago trip in 2000 of a Union Pacific intermodal coming across the famous former Pennsylvania Railroad lift bridge.

What is the official name of this bridge? Internet searches came up with South Branch Bridge and Canal Street Railroad Bridge.

Another source calls it the "Pennsylvania Railroad Vertical Lift Bridge." See this page:

For a couple views of it my father took in the early 1960s when he was given a cab ride from Bloomington to Chicago on a GM&O passenger train, go to this page and look for the appropriate thumbnails:

I've always heard that called 21st street Drawbridge. However, that's recently - it may be Amtrak or NS's name for the bridge.

What year was this bridge built? The design appears circa 1920s.
