The A&A makes Trains June 2008 issue.

The June 2008 issue of Trains has a couple things of interest for the A&A enthusiast. Most notable is a 2-page article about JT Robertson and his Make a Difference Day Express trips. It's a nice article with a few pictures. JT has a blog with which you can keep up on the latest news. It's at makeadifferencedayexpress.blogspot.com

There is also a short editorial about Edward Lewis and though it focuses mainly on the Aberdeen & Rockfish it does have a paragraph about him coming to work as GM of the A&A in 1965.

Any idea when the issue hits the newsstand?

According to my Trains newsletter the issue should be available at newsstands around May 13th.

The issue also has a feature article about short lines in PA which makes mention of the WNY&P. Now if they'd only do one about lines in NY.

Just received a copy in the mail this morning. What a wonderful thing JT is doing....and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger!
