MARC weekend service

Oh yeah... Forgot! And why is there no weekend service along this NEC line? People do want to go to Downtown Baltimore/ D.C. on the weekends... There are games, shopping, etc... Just to get out!!! See above Q!!!

MARC was created to reduce congestion along I-95 during the weekdays. That is the main reason it doesn't run on weekends.

I believe; however, that they may someday introduce service on weekends. Unfortunatly the state's budget crisis makes that difficult.

There's traffic on weekends, too. Is it a lack of state funding?

I could never figure out in the days before the Nats, that you can take a Marc train to Camden Yards, but not back. And only during the week. It's RIGHT THERE!!! You walk right past it en route to the park. What better advertisement do you need?
