From what I understand, PRR and H&M shared tracks. Between Harrison and JSQ you can still see remnants of catenary and catenary supports above the PATH tracks.
PRR had scheduled services departing Hudson Terminal as well.

PRR and H&M shared the same right of way, but I don't think they actually shared tracks in practical operation. There even may have been the opportunity or physical connections, etc. that would allow it, but in practice, no.

AFAIK the tracks were shared from Kearny to just before the Summit Avenue station. The overhead catenary wire remnants were quite evident in the 1980s on the PATH ROW.

PRR had separate passenger tracks from Jersey City terminal to just west of Journal Square. From about MP 3 to MP 8 (just east of Harrison) there were just the two passenger mains, used by H&M and PRR trains.
