I was wondering if anyone had any background information or pictures of 7 - Flushing Line service during the 1964 World's Fair. I was three year's old at the time, and going from Mamaroneck to the World's Fair by train and subway is most likely my earliest memory. I remember riding the New Haven to GCT, and then heading down into the deep station at GCT, which seemed very futuristic at the time (if I remember, the station is tube-shaped), and watching down the track waiting for the train. I also remember getting off the train onto a temporary wooden platform and bridge to the fair in Flushing.
Any help would be appreciated. I've searched the threads and haven't found anything. Thanks!
