Zone E is Blue, Zone F is Green, Zone G is Golden Yellow and Zone H is Purple. Do you know any other colors on the Metra ticket by zone?

To my knowledge that I know that.

10-ride, & one way tickets

Zone B is yellowish-green

Zone C is brown

Zone D is pink

which ticket are you referring to?

Just looking at my monthly passes (zone C) - there doesn't seem to be any consistency to the color, it changes every month

Yes, the color of monthly passes is changed each month to make outdated ones easy to spot. One-way and 10-ride tickets are color-coded by fare zone and those colors have remained the same for years.

Also, one-way and 10-ride inter-zonal tickets, purchased at suburban stations by commuters not traveling downtown, are a light-reddish color, surrounded by a thin blue line around the edges...
