Subway cars in Canton NY today?

Someone told me they saw what was apparently a train of subway cars with the name Metro on them. Any idea what these cars are for and where they're heading?

They were probably correct and those cars were either coming from or going to the Alstom facility in Hornell NY for work. They have a huge contract with that specific carrier.
