Just saw a series of photos on Nerail that show three engines in Millis. Why would so many be there at once?

It's for the 2.0% climb from Medfield Jct ... just kidding. :-)

I would think one unit would be enough for protection power should the primary unit go down. Perhaps some of the moves to/from Medfield Jct are long enough that they need two engines?

BCLR 1701 just had her main generator replaced. To my knowledge, BCLR 2443 hasn't run in many months. BCLR 1705 is the primary unit.
