Took the Metro to Union Station in DC this afternoon for the first time. Was very excited to see two Pennsylvania Railroad painted E-units running in the yard just north of the station. The engines were pulling several Pullman cars.

Is this a regular "special" train? Is it always in DC or does it move regularly?

Also,

Is the New York Ave. Metro station a good place to hang out a little bit and take pictures? I'd like to spend some time there, but not sure how much hassling I want to deal with.

Did they use the EX-CR, EXX-PC, EXXX-PRR, now owned by Juniata E8's?

Actually, those E-8s are owned by Bennett Levin, and yes, those were the locomotives used.
