Well I recently had an employee arrested, and his truck was impounded. You guessed it, I got to make a trip to 701 N Sacramento, by the MILW and CNW yards for Metra. There was some great train viewing, although my week-long dealings with Chicago civil servants in trying to free a company truck from the pound just excites me more to move out... Seriously, I reccommend a trip to the pound area. Lots of trains.

You have to watch your step wherever you go, which definitely applies to that immediate neighborhood. Fortunately, the Western Ave station is less than a mile away, which has always been a decent place to watch trains, especially in rush hours, at least it's easier to blend in with the crowd. Still wouldn't hang around there after dark, though...
