AC line 3 locos?!

I saw something that I have never seen on the AC line this evening. At about 8:30pm, at the Westmont grade crossing, I saw 3 or 4 locomotives ahead of the train heading towards philly. Where are these locomotives going? Thanks.

Sounds like an equipment move to me. The train may also have been operating in revenue service as well killing two birds with one stone.

Sounds like an equipment move to me... but it could not have been a normally scheduled train as there are no trains headed for Philly around that time unless 4624 was operating really late... that should have been in that area at around 7:44pm.

most likely it it an equipment move for servicing, since equipment on the AC line goes up to MMC, equipment has to go to/from via Philly
