problem here..
the locomotive in that photo I believe is incorrectly labeled as LV271..
I have the current status of LV 271 as "Cando 1002"
the photo above is 1003,
yes its possible my info is incorrect..but I dont think so.
because LV 271 has the dynamic brake "hump"..and 1003 does not have it..

I will send a note to the photographer and ask if he has a photo of 1002!

LV had no SW1200's.Only had NW,NW1,NW2,SW,SW1,SW7,SW8 and 8 m's, SW9 and 900m"s. Color 3 has a good roster on these.

I wrote to Chris Blaschuk, the photographer of the Cando engine.
He said he made a mistake..
He got his data from the "Canadian trackside guide" and he mixed up Cando 1002 and 1003.
He has since changed the data with the photo.
He originally had it labeled as a SW8m, former LV 271.
the LV unit is Cando 1002, not 1003.

I know Scot and Chris.
Just wanted to mention that LV had NO SW1200's on there roster.
Just for future "lookers".
