I believe Amtrakfan reported it having a blown turbocharger a while back...

Yes it did on the MILW-W at Bensenville.

I remember somebody saying it was about to blow a few days before it happened. Then I just heard that it was gone.

Well Folks I just remembered I saw 416 on an MILW-N Train on Aug 21st.
