- Guilford Rail System changed its name to Pan Am Railways in 2006. Discussion relating to the current operations of the Boston & Maine, the Maine Central, and the Springfield Terminal railroads (as well as the Delaware & Hudson while it was under Guilford control until 1988). Sat it heading towards the trestle at 8:30ish. Think this is to do with the CWR or the Patterson Lane work?

Doubt it, the Sperry truck has been up here for the past few weeks doing the branches and the main line after the GEO train knocked down most of the 25 east of Waterville.

Tie job was started in Portsmouth yard today, the equipment has been there a couple weeks now. They are currently working on the two stub tracks close to the mill pond, they were in pretty bad shape. We'll see weather they do the whole yard, time will tell.
