Weird because as far as I can tell that’s the first time 5279 has been assigned somewhere outside south jersey for like 20 years.

Wasn’t sure where to post this but has anyone ever been to the Jersey Shore Live Steamers in New Gretna? Went there yesterday. Nice little place!

Hmmm. I guess seeing it on H76 in 2019 was a figment of my imagination

Bracdude- 5279 was working on NS for a time after it was painted black years ago. Even long time units on shared assets have been back working on their parent company lines in recent years.

BTW is 5219 still down there? Heard it’s been on MI61 lately.

You’re welcome. CA51 has used that unit too. It seems that 51 and 61 trade power sometimes.

Bracdude - The MI61 has been using the NS 5307 and 3026. Paulsboro has the NS 5802 and CSX 2647 this week. Good luck.

Where’d 5219 go? Hoping to catch the CMSL freight too but from what I hear they run at random
