10000 has been gone for 20 years now and was pre Beech Grove 10001.

10002 and 100003 are not "business cars". They're test cars. The only "business car" owned by Amtrak is 10001, "Beech Grove". My understanding is that it was rebuilt from a wrecked Amfleet I.

The FRA also has a geometry test car, the T10000, which is a self-propelled variant on an SPV-2000. But it too is a test car, not an office car.

Government service is not long on lavish perks for employees.

Business cars are any other cars than revenue or MOFW cars.
I did not call them a office cars something that 10001 is.
but yes all 3 cars are Business cars.

Business Car = Office Car. Test/Geometry Car is NOT a business car or an office car.

I think it's a track inspection vehicle. It's wearing the Amtrak logo, so it not NYMTA equipment.
