• What is this building in Hoosick?

  • Pertaining to all railroading subjects, past and present, in New York State.

Judging by the street view of the building and nearby gondola on the siding, I would guess it's MOW. Hopefully someone who better knows can either confirm or deny.

I presume it's an old freight station. The only curious thing is it's not there in a 1952 aerial, a different building is just east of it.

The street is "Railroad Lane".

I agree. The street view shows three large doorways on both sides for freight loading/unloading.

I would tend to agree but seen as I have all the other Hoosick (east, north, etc.) buildings on my website, I find it strange that this one large one, would have been missing.
