I've recently found all the SW1001s current status except 100. Thanks for any help!

103 has a fresh coat of paint and was running (idle) when I was in Morris Park last week. Maybe it'll be back in service soon.

That's what you wind up with, using water based household paint, and little to NO surface prep, what a shame!!!!
All those repainted units need a trip to a proper paint booth to do it right!

I know the 101/105 were repainted for a Sean Penn movie around 1998 into that darker green to film on NYA in Queens. It's funny though all them in the original lead based paint always shows through almost 25 years later denoting their LIRR blue and white heritage.
