The exterior does not matter. What matters is under the skin. Like it or not, the units and cars must meet FRA specifications.

I don't see how a drawing is really relevant to Amtrak or HSR

I'm curious as to why there are so many pantographs. That train wouldn't make it too far without bringing down the wires. 
I want my road foreman!
