Either on Railroad.net or elsewhere, some time ago there was speculation that
PAR might send the PAR OCS to Portsmouth and make a trip to Kittery over the
new Sara Long Bridge as part of the dedication ceremony. That ceremony is
next Friday, June 8th. As part of the event, they are closing the bridge to
auto traffic, so that visitors can assemble and walk on the roadway. In order
for the PAR OCS to cross to Kittery, the deck would have to be lowered to the
rail level, which would foul up the dedication plans. I rather doubt that any
such move will take place.

As info, PAR 1, PAR 2, and 3 business cars were parked at Rigby as of early Monday evening. Train was facing west. Dome car was next to PAR 2. The DOT and FRA cars were still behind the yard office.

On Thursday 8/16, the train came east from North Adams to Ayer then turned south and ran from Ayer to Greendale over the Worcester main. There was a boxcar on the Greendale siding so MEC 7620 led the train back to Ayer.

Downeaster patron calls out Pan Am for running the OCS ahead of a Boston bound Downeaster at Dover, delaying it by 40 minutes(?).

And adding insult to injury:
Those of us on the cold Dover platform, observed the absence of care for we train riders by Pan Am 1 as it passed by. Four or five men were seated in the back of the five-car almost empty Pan Am 1, and they were surrounded by glass making them easily observed by several of us. One of the men in the windows pointed at us and said something that made the other men laugh. Who knows what he said or why they laughed? I don’t, but it sure looked like they were laughing at us.

So the railroad that pays taxes in Maine delayed a train that is payed for by Maine, while people in New Hampshire had to wait on the platform?

Please, it was September, it's not that cold. If it was in the middle of January, then yeah, I could see them complaining about it the cold.
