There is a mill in Indiana I know of that makes rails and heat-treats them in 300' lengths.

Rail is rolled in the US at Rocky Mountain Rolling Mills in Pueblo, CO and by Steel Dynamics at Columbia, IN for sure, I believe but am not sure that rail is still rolled at the ArcelorMittal mill in Steelton, PA (nr Harrisburg). Special high wear resistant rail for sharper curves tends to be imported, mainly from Japan.
