NJTransit to borrow from MARC

Damn they did hit the RVL, was really hoping they put em on the NJCL, but hopefully we can keep 4100 for a week.

4100 is already gone. It left Sunday night.

Go figure, we can never seem to keep a GP40 around for a full weekend unless it’s 4216 lol.

The outbound RVL train through Whitehouse Station at ~6:30 Tuesday evening (5737?) had 7 MARC coaches, a PL42AC leading, and 4217 trailing.

Ok that makes a question, where are the other 3 coaches?

Most likely still at the MMC being held as reserve in the event that one or more needs to be swapped for a repair.

4009 and 4200 are bookending the MARC coaches on the RVL today.

As per the engineer of this set (Jim) today’s 5416 will be the last run of this set; reports have been circulating an ALP45DP+8 Comets set used on the 5100 rotations will be in place. 4200 is due for its 92-day inspection.

That Comet set is Comet V 6012, and 4510(?), was in Bound Brook on Wednesday, saw the set on a 5100 rotation.
