Thanks! That's probably because your fingers aren't falling off from the 5° temperature.

Yeah they were having problems with the original engines so they tacked a few more on. No kill like overkill.

Chasing Pan Am train SEPO through a snow covered landscape in sub-zero windchill two days after the 1/4/18 blizzard. The only repainted Dash 8 7552 leads through windblown snow and a lovely sunset.

Train BFPO with 5 locomotives hauling 114 cars including 69 tanks of limestone slurry, meets 22K waiting for a recrew just East of Wachusett station. Shortly afterwards, 23K passes by Westbound as 22K's new crew starts up their locomotives. Then we catch BFPO again storming into Shirley at twilight.

EDPO meets I3K at Gardner before continuing East. We catch them at Wachusett station where a few cars' brakes are smoking on the downgrade, then again in Shirley and Ayer.

Later, a failed excursion to North Chelmsford to see POSE only finds a locomotive being turned on the wye, while an idiot gets his SUV hit by the crossing gates. Backtracking to Meadowbrook Rd we catch EDPO one last time shortly after sunset.

A chase of I2K from Wachusett to Ayer with a Canadian Pacific AC4400CWM on point, followed by EDPO with the SD40-2 Snoot 606 leading.
