Any NYA customers between Farmingdale and Ronkonkoma losing their spurs due to the double-tracking of the Main Line? Any DEF's the NYA uses going to be removed for the new track also? Thanks.

The one customer I would think might have some issues would be the stone guy by PC Richards off of Commack Road. My guess is the Old DK siding would become Mainline 2 during the double tracking, which would impact that customer siding. While that area is under construction, that switch may be embargoed.

Doesn't Astro Ready Mix truck that stone from PC Richards across to the facility at the other side of the tracks? Maybe they should lobby for a spur on the same side as their business!!

Any new developments, good or bad, for NYA's customers???

Apparently the ready mix siding will be reconfigured as an eastbound facing point switch and come off of what was the runaround track off of the OLD DK freight siding, which will become the new second mainline track.

On the LIRR forum discussion about the Main Line double-tracking, it looks like the spur next to PC Richard used by Astro has been disconnected.

Switch is still connected. They were serviced 2 nights ago.

Part of the track work on the LIRR this weekend(9/8-9-11) includes switch installation between Carl's Path and Commack Road. That may be for Astro. Someone mentioned it might be a westbound trailing point switch now?
