Everything connected with this costs millions. I'm old enough to remember when a million dollars was a lt of money.

Long time ago I remember hearing that NJTransit was supposed to buy a strip of the land of the Malanka fill in order to ensure that they could have 4 through tracks passing through Secaucus. Let's hope that they do not drop the ball on widening the right of way there if it is needed. Past plans included about 6 tracks west of Secaucus with two of them diving down and forming the so called loop.
