My buddy just showed me pics of the Bel Del taking a lumber car to West Easton over the former CNJ main line. This is apparently a new customer. Great to see a train roll on the old CNJ in Easton again. I know BDRV had another customer that got tank cars a few times a year but not sure if the still serve them. This new lumber customer has reportedly gotten a few carloads already this year.

This could also answer the question the media asked of why they tore down the homeless camp along the line a few months back.

Yes, I saw a loco on the line sometime in August or September of this year, during the early afternoon. Action on the old CNJ is rare, but does happen from time to time.

I have an office in the Northampton Bank building and have decent views of the current NS line, as well as the line in Phillipsburg NJ and the former CNJ, if I can catch them.
